Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sourcing, development, and execution of M&A opportunities from initial pitch through to completion
  • Direct the development and review of detailed financial models assessing different operating scenarios and transaction outcomes
  • Oversee valuation analyses using multiple approaches to support client recommendations
  • Analyse capital structures and evaluate potential transaction impacts
  • Maintain strong understanding of clients, target companies, and sector dynamics
  • Monitor industry trends and market activity to identify opportunities and inform client engagement
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality presentation materials for client discussions
  • Manage transaction timelines and coordinate across internal deal teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure all activities align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Proactively identify and manage risks related to transactions and client engagements
  • Uphold high standards of professional integrity, conduct, and accountability

Experience

  • AVP: Typically 3-6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, or corporate finance, with solid exposure to transaction execution and deal processes.

  • VP: Typically 6-10+ years of investment banking experience, with demonstrated ownership of key deal workstreams and meaningful client interaction responsibilities.
