Our client is a fast growing multi-office APAC business, focused on the consumer segments. As a hands on legal leader you will work directly with the CEO to handle daily operations, mid-term projects and overall direction of the business.

- Group General Counsel
- Leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO

Role
- Take lead on all transactional aspects including acquisitions, investments and fund-raising across the APAC region
- With your team, review and negotiate various agreements such as NDAs, term sheets, commercial contracts and various corporate documentation relating to JVs and financing.
- Grow and develop and CofE compliance program which includes key areas such as Regulation, AML, Sanctions and Investigations
- Work closely with country leaders and group heads around mid-term strategic goals, these include financial and growth targets, new products and new markets.
- Manage a small team and work with global stakeholders
Requirements
- PQE = 12 - 20 (Open to candidates who sit outside this guideline)
- International background includes education and tier 1 law firms
- Mixture of law firm and In-House - essential
- Experience working in commercial environments such as Consumer Goods, Logistics, Real Estate, Manufacturing
- Background spread across Transactional, Commercial and Compliance
- Ability to work with local, regional and international stakeholders - essential
