Our client, a leading corporate bank with a strong footprint across Asia, is seeking a strategic and innovative Gen AI Product Owner to drive the next wave of banking transformation through artificial intelligence.
In this role, you will partner with the Chief Product Owner to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI use casesfrom ideation and validation through to design, development, deployment, and enterprise-scale adoption. You will work at the intersection of data science, engineering, design, and business leadership to translate emerging AI technologies into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Product Leadership: Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions, ensuring scalability, compliance, and tangible business impact.
- User-Centric Design: Champion intuitive, human-centered design principles in partnership with UX and Service Design teams to deliver AI solutions that enhance client and employee experiences.
- Agile Product Delivery: Convert complex business challenges into actionable product opportunities. Manage backlogs, user stories, and delivery pipelines while balancing short-term wins with long-term strategic priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the Group Chief Data Office, platform teams, compliance, risk, and governance forums to align AI initiatives with enterprise objectives and regulatory standards.
- Scalable Architecture: Work with engineering teams to define reusable and scalable AI patterns applicable across multiple business lines.
- Performance & Value Measurement: Define KPIs, monitor ROI, adoption, and business impact, and maintain benefit documentation to inform senior stakeholders.
- Innovation Pipeline: Track and integrate emerging AI trendssuch as agentic AI, multimodal models, and LLMOpsinto the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management/ownership experience, ideally with AI/ML or advanced analytics in financial services or technology.
- Hands-on exposure to LLMOps or agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen).
- Experience in AI model risk management, compliance, and explainability frameworks (XAI).
- Background in corporate banking processes, products, or operations is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI observability tools and enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
- Strong knowledge of the AI/ML lifecycle (model training, tuning, deployment), MLOps, and data pipeline integration.
- Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), backlog management, sprint planning, and tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Figma.
- Relevant certifications such as CSPO, PMI-ACP, AI/ML, or ML Engineer preferred.
