Full-Time Gelato Store Assistant

Location: EK Creamery @ 997 Serangoon Road
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 5-6 days/week, including weekends & public holidays

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hands-on Full-Time Gelato Store Assistant to support daily store operations and deliver a warm, memorable experience to every customer. If you enjoy working with food, love interacting with people, and take pride in cleanliness and quality, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve gelato, drinks, and desserts accurately and efficiently

• Provide friendly customer service and explain flavours confidently

• Handle POS operations, cash, and payments responsibly

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store, equipment, and work areas

• Assist with opening and closing duties

• Support basic food prep and restocking of ingredients

• Monitor display freezers and ensure gelato is presented attractively

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and SOP guidelines strictly

• Assist with stock checks and inventory rotation

• Support the team during peak hours

Requirements

• Prior F&B or retail experience preferred (training provided)

• Comfortable standing for long hours and working in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude, dependable, and willing to learn

• Good communication skills and basic English

• Able to work weekends and public holidays

• Food hygiene certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
