Job Description – GCP Generative AI & Dialogflow CX Engineer (10 Key Responsibilities)
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Vertex AI.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement secure access to GCP services using IAM, Service Accounts, Secret Manager, and least-privilege security principles.
- Develop and optimize BigQuery-based analytics and reporting solutions for large-scale enterprise data processing.
- Design, configure, and support Dialogflow CX agents including flows, pages, intents, entities, fulfillment, and webhook integrations.
- Create and manage Generative AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models, prompt engineering, and playbook-based conversational experiences.
- Lead the migration of traditional Dialogflow CX agents to Generative AI agents, preserving business logic, integrations, and customer journeys.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to Cloud Run deployments, CORS, networking, authentication, and API integrations.
- Integrate conversational AI platforms with enterprise systems, databases, knowledge bases, and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and intelligent customer engagement solutions while following AI governance and cloud best practices.
