We are seeking an Operator to support the execution of physical Gasoline trades across Asia. This role sits at the heart of the trading desk, ensuring smooth post-trade operations from contract confirmation through to cargo completion, invoicing, and settlement. You will work closely with traders, chartering, inspectors, surveyors, terminals, and counterparties to manage operational risk and ensure timely and accurate execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end post-trade operations for physical CPP cargoes (Gasoline)
- Review and confirm contractual terms
- Nominate vessels, inspectors, surveyors, and terminals; coordinate lifting schedules
- Monitor loading/discharge operations and resolve operational issues in real time
- Liaise with ship owners, brokers, terminal operators, surveyors, and inspectors
- Prepare and review shipping documents (BLs, invoices, certificates of quantity and quality)
- Ensure accurate P&L inputs, pricing, and demurrage calculations
- Track laytime, claims, and demurrage; assist in dispute resolution
- Coordinate invoicing, payments, and settlement with finance teams
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, sanctions, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of physical oil contracts, Incoterms, and shipping terms
- Familiarity with Asia-Pacific product market practices and documentation
- Experience handling FOB, CIF, and DES cargoes
- Knowledge of Gasoline Blending, storage handling, and STS operations is advantageous
