Job Summary
Lead a small operations team to deliver seamless execution of Ultra-High Purity (UHP) gas delivery and chemical piping systems within semiconductor facilities. Drive operational excellence through effective coordination, safety compliance, cost control, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small team of contractors to execute operational plans efficiently and safely, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
- Coordinate operations with customers and team members by managing comprehensive documentation, scheduling, and reporting to ensure alignment and transparency
- Communicate operational updates and provide support to team members to maintain alignment with department goals and enhance performance
- Participate in setting and achieving departmental objectives to continuously improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Enforce safety formalities and provide on-site supervision to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations during operation plan execution
- Plan Bills of Materials (BOM) and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) assignments to contribute to cost control initiatives and optimize resource allocation
- Prepare and conduct on-site surveys to support new builds, system expansions, and facility hook-up/unhook requirements, ensuring accurate project planning
- Apply specialist knowledge of gas or chemical systems related to the semiconductor industry to oversee UHP gas delivery and chemical piping systems with technical precision
- Coordinate semiconductor facility system expansions and new build requirements to ensure seamless integration and operational continuity
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support evolving operational needs and business objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Electronics or Semiconductor industry
- Degree, Diploma, or Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent related working experience
- Proven knowledge or familiarity with gas or chemical systems in semiconductor fabrication facilities
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and AutoCAD Design for operational planning and documentation
- Demonstrated responsibility and teamwork with strong interpretation and communication skills to support operational coordination
- Strong safety consciousness with the ability to enforce safety protocols on-site
- Effective planning, supervisory, and leadership skills to manage teams and operational activities
