Job Summary:
The Gardener is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas. This role involves planting, pruning, fertilizing, and general upkeep to ensure a healthy and aesthetically pleasing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
- Prune and trim plants and trees to promote healthy growth.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed.
- Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Monitor garden health and diagnose pest or disease issues.
- Assist with garden design and planning.
- Perform general landscape maintenance, including mulching, weeding, and mowing.
- Keep garden areas clean and free of debris.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling chemicals and equipment.
