Job Summary
We are seeking passionate, energetic, and child-focused individuals to join our vibrant team as a Game Master. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional escape room experiences, guiding and encouraging young players as they navigate our immersive challenges. If you have a knack for engaging with children, a love of storytelling, and a desire to make learning fun while delivering the best kids and family edutainment experience, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and clearly to customer inquiries and manage bookings to ensure smooth operations
- Master the details and mechanics of each escape room to provide accurate guidance
- Maintain and repair escape room sets and props to ensure functionality and safety
- Facilitate escape room sessions by guiding players, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment
- Observe player progress and adapt facilitation techniques to accommodate different ages and skill levels
- Manage scheduling and timing of game sessions efficiently
- Reset and prepare escape rooms between sessions to maintain readiness
- Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for children and their families through positive interaction
- Identify and resolve unexpected issues or challenges quickly to minimize disruption
- Assist with general facility upkeep to maintain a clean and organized environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Genuine passion for engaging with children and supporting their learning development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills tailored to children and parents
- Experience or academic background in education, childcare, or related fields is highly desirable
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is strongly preferred
- Students pursuing studies in Tourism and Hospitality are encouraged to apply
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations effectively
- High enthusiasm, energy, initiative, and commitment to creating a positive and friendly environment
- Patience, empathy, and a sincere desire to help children succeed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
