Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate, energetic, and child-focused individuals to join our vibrant team as a Game Master. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional escape room experiences, guiding and encouraging young players as they navigate our immersive challenges. If you have a knack for engaging with children, a love of storytelling, and a desire to make learning fun while delivering the best kids and family edutainment experience, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and bookings, providing excellent customer service
- Acquire full understanding of each game room
- Maintain the integrity and functionality of escape room sets and props
- Facilitate and oversee escape room sessions, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for all participants
- Provide guidance to players as needed, encouraging problem-solving and teamwork
- Observe and assess player progress, adapting your approach to suit different age groups and skill levels
- Manage slots and timings
- Reset escape rooms between sessions
- Interact positively with children and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere
- Solve unexpected problems/situations promptly
- Assist with general upkeep of the facility
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for interaction with children and fostering their learning
- Excellent communication with children and parents, interpersonal, and storytelling skills
- Experience or studies in education, childcare, or related fields is highly desirable
- Prior experiences in retail and/or customer service field is strongly preferred.
- Students pursuing academic studies in Tourism and Hospitality related disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations
- High levels of enthusiastic, energetic, initiative, commitment with a positive attitude to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to deliver the best kids and families experience
- Patient, empathetic, and a genuine desire to help children succeed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
