Role Overview

We are seeking an FX Operations Specialist to support the operational activities of the SGX CurrencyNode trading platform.

This role will assist client onboarding, trading platform monitoring, operational support, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day platform operations.

The position is based in Singapore and supports a global trading platform serving clients across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Liquidity Provider Onboarding

• Support onboarding activities for clients and liquidity providers on the trading platform.
• Coordinate system readiness checks and ensure correct configuration prior to platform access.
• Assist with go-live support and initial trading validation.

Trading Platform Operations

• Monitor trading platform connectivity and ensure system configurations are accurate.
• Support ongoing maintenance of trading sessions and connectivity.

Trade Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Monitor trading activity and investigate operational issues such as trade rejects or order expiries.
• Work with internal teams to identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.

Operational Controls

• Assist with daily operational checks and reconciliation processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operational processes.

Process Improvements

• Support operational reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

Collaboration

• Work closely with internal stakeholders including technology, sales, compliance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of financial markets or foreign exchange trading.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel or Python.
• Exposure to electronic trading platforms or financial systems is an advantage.

Training will be provided for candidates with strong learning ability and interest in financial markets.
