Role Overview

We are looking for a FX Liquidity Engineer to build and operate BPN's liquidity and FX routing infrastructure. This role works closely with the FX Trading / Liquidity team to design systems that source liquidity across multiple venues (OTC, CEX, P2P, DEX) and execute optimal

currency conversion between local fiat and stablecoins.

You will help build the core infrastructure that powers BPN's pricing, liquidity routing,

and settlement engine.

Key Responsibilities

1. Liquidity Infrastructure

Build and maintain systems for:

• market price aggregation across exchanges and liquidity venues
• liquidity routing between fiat and stablecoins
• trade execution through exchange and OTC APIs
• stablecoin inventory management

2. FX & Liquidity Integration

Work with the FX Trading team to implement:

• liquidity sourcing strategies
• cross-venue price comparison
• FX routing logic for emerging markets (BRL, NGN, MXN, TRY, etc.)

3. Market Data Systems

Develop services that collect and process real-time market data:

• CEX order books
• OTC quotes
• liquidity depth and spreads
• Ensure reliable data feeds and low-latency processing.

4. Execution Systems

Integrate with exchange APIs and build systems for:

• automated trade execution
• liquidity balancing
• exposure monitoring

5. Monitoring & Risk Control

Build tools to monitor:

• liquidity depth
• spreads and execution slippage
• stablecoin inventory exposure

Technical Requirements

Must have:

• Strong Java backend development experience
• Experience building high-throughput or real-time systems
• Familiar with REST / WebSocket APIs
• Experience integrating with crypto exchanges or trading APIs

Preferred:

• Experience with trading systems / market data / order execution
• Understanding of crypto markets or FX markets
• Familiar with Kafka / Redis / streaming data systems
