Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Sales Conversion
- Greet, engage, and build rapport with walk-in customers to create a warm, welcoming experience.
- Understand customer needs, preferences, and lifestyle to recommend tailored furniture and home solutions.
- Drive sales conversions across multiple touchpoints including in-store, chat, email, and phone inquiries.
- Follow up with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
2. Product Knowledge & Solution Selling
- Develop deep knowledge of IUIGA's furniture and home collections to provide informed recommendations.
- Guide customers on design choices such as materials, color palettes, and space planning.
- Confidently present solutions that balance style, functionality, and budget.
3. Customer Care & Problem Solving
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Proactively resolve concerns or issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support IUIGA's customer-first culture by delivering consistent, positive interactions.
4. Store Operations & Standards
- Contribute to store excellence by maintaining showroom presentation and visual standards.
- Assist in stock management including receiving, issuing, and monthly stocktake accuracy.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily store operations.
What You'll Bring
- Prior experience in retail sales, ideally in furniture, home dcor, or lifestyle categories.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills approachable and empathetic with a natural ability to connect with people.
- Passion for delivering great customer experiences and building long-term relationships.
- A positive, high-energy attitude with a proactive mindset.
- Comfort with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and retail POS systems.
