Funeral Service Assistant
Job Summary
You will assist in the collection, transport, and preparation of deceased bodies and coffins, drive company funeral hearse / vehicles, conduct funeral services, guide bereaved families, and maintain company vehicles and premises.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and transporting deceased persons safely and respectfully
- Assist in preparing coffins and encoffin processes to ensure proper handling
- Assist in delivering caskets to funeral wake locations accurately and on time
- Conduct funeral services and provide guidance and support to bereaved families throughout the process
- Drive funeral hearses and company vehicles safely according to schedules and routes
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles, equipment, and premises to uphold professional standards
- Assist in collecting and transferring ashes and support sea burial and garden scattering services as required
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support funeral operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum N Levels or equivalent education
- Valid Class 3/3A driving license
- Ability to work shifts and overtime as needed
- Positive attitude and courteous manner in all interactions

Other Information
- Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,500 per month inclusive of allowances and incentives
- Work schedule: 6 days per week
