Overview
We are seeking a Funds Paralegal to provide support for business operations across Asia Pacific. This role involves working closely with regional and global legal teams on a variety of assignments, primarily focused on asset management. The position offers exposure to legal matters related to funds, client agreements, and regulatory compliance, with occasional involvement in privacy, data protection, and intellectual property issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update internal legal systems and databases, ensuring accuracy of agreements and related documentation.
- Assist with company secretarial tasks for entities within the region.
- Review and verify offering documents for funds registered in APAC markets.
- Support monitoring of regulatory developments in privacy and data protection across the region.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contacts to deliver timely legal assistance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in law or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience, ideally within asset management or financial services.
- Familiarity with reviewing and drafting contracts is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
