The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager is responsible for the coordination of fundraising events and initiatives for the SPCA. He/she develops a fundraising plan and actively suggests new fundraising opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising action plan in alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.
- Driving effective and creative fundraising strategies to diversify and grow revenue streams.
- Preparing regular profit and loss reports for all fundraising activities and ensuring compliance with charity and regulatory guidelines.
- Recommend and manage the annual fundraising budget in alignment with the organisational priorities.
- Maintaining accurate records of all fundraising activities and income.
- Providing timely monthly updates on fundraising performance and progress.
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with donors and supporters to sustain engagement.
- Managing sponsorship programmes and donation channels, including doggie box collections.
- Developing donor engagement and stewardship strategies.
- Identifying donor reactivation and upgrade opportunities, including lapsed donors and existing supporters with capacity to give more.
- Designing and implementing strategies to grow monthly recurring donations.
- Planning and delivering impactful fundraising events from concept to execution.
- Ensuring all fundraising initiatives are fully compliant with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
- Cultivating partnerships with corporate sponsors, community groups, educational institutions and other stakeholders to co-develop fundraising campaigns and collaborative initiatives.
- Exploring grant and co-funding opportunities in partnership with aligned organisations to increase financial sustainability.
- Representing the organisation at external events and networking platforms to build new alliances and fundraising avenues.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Provide support for ad-hoc events and SPCA-led initiatives as required
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline
- 2 to 3 years experience either working or volunteering in a fundraising role preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments and external stakeholders
- Passion for animal welfare
