Fundamental Investment Analyst Intern

Overview

We are seeking a Fundamental Investment Analyst Intern to support investment research, portfolio monitoring, and market analysis across global financial markets.

The intern will work directly with the portfolio manager to assist in equity research, investment analysis, and portfolio monitoring, while gaining exposure to the investment process used in discretionary portfolio management.

This role provides hands-on experience in fundamental investment research, portfolio construction, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Research

• Conduct fundamental research on equities across global markets
• Assist in identifying investment opportunities and monitoring existing portfolio positions
• Focus on selected sectors that require deeper analysis, including China pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies

Market & Sector Analysis

• Monitor market developments, macroeconomic trends, and sector performance
• Prepare summaries on major economic and market developments
• Track key macro indicators relevant to financial markets

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
• Strong interest in investment management and financial markets
• Solid analytical and research skills
• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis
• Strong written and communication skills
