Company Description
Peakwater Management is a Singapore-based volatility-focused hedge fund applying systematic, relative-value, and cross-asset volatility strategies. Peakwater Management Funds are managed by Pilgrim Partners Asia (Pte.) Ltd., a licensed investment manager under the Monetary Authority of Singapore. We combine quantitative research, disciplined risk management, and scalable execution to capture volatility premia across global multi-asset classes.

The ideal candidate has 35 years of experience in fund operations, preferably within a hedge fund, fund platform, or fund administration firm with hands-on exposure to the Singapore VCC framework. This is a core role with high visibility to the CIO, offering growth potential as the fund scales.
Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with fund administrators on daily transaction bookings, reconciliations, and monthly NAV production.
- Oversee trade support, including trade capture, settlement, corporate actions, and broker interface checks.
- Maintain operational relationships with fund platform providers, custodians, brokers, and service partners.
- Ensure timely and accurate portfolio reconciliation, PnL validation, and cash/position break resolution.
- Work with the CIO on risk reporting, exposure monitoring, and regulatory filings.
- Support investor onboarding, subscription/redemption processing, and maintaining UBO/KYC documentation.
- Assist in compliance matters, including MAS reporting, VCC governance, and operational due diligence inquiries.
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements in coordination with the trading and tech teams.
- Prepare internal reporting packs for performance, operations, and investor relations.
Requirements
- 35 years of relevant experience in fund operations, middle office, or fund administration.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in Singapore VCC, fund platform structures, or hedge fund setups.
- Prior work experience with fund administrators is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of NAV calculation, reconciliations, corporate actions, and fund accounting basics.
- Familiarity with derivatives, margin trading, and counterparty processes is a plus.
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and capable of operating independently in a lean hedge fund team.
- Exceptional communication skills when dealing with administrators, platforms, brokers, and investors.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and maintain high accuracy standards.
What We Offer
- Direct involvement in shaping Peakwater's operational framework as the fund scales toward institutional capital.
- Competitive compensation linked to performance and value creation.
- A high-growth environment in one of the top emerging volatility hedge funds in Asia, with clear career progression as the fund scales.
- A culture that values innovation, research-driven decision making, and disciplined risk management.
