Overview
Koru Partners is a thematically driven alternative investment firm identifying attractive investment opportunities backed by macro-holistic themes encompassing forward-looking social, economic, demographic, and technological changes.
We are inspired to be the world's leading business partner for unique insights, understanding, and decision making. It is our mission to understand the challenges facing humanity and to empower people and companies, working to transform such challenges into opportunities through allocation of capital.
We are looking for a highly motivated and intellectually curious individual to join our Fund Operations team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited about combining finance, operations, technology, and AI to help build the next generation of investment management infrastructure.
You do not necessarily need prior fund operations experience. More importantly, we are looking for someone who is analytical, systems-oriented, detail-focused, and eager to leverage technology — including AI tools and large language models (LLMs) — to improve workflows, automate processes, and help scale the firm for the future.
This is not a traditional back-office role. You will have the opportunity to work across fund operations, reporting, automation, internal tooling, and strategic process design while gaining exposure to multiple products and aspects of the investment management business.
We are open to exceptional candidates across different geographies, particularly those comfortable working in a fast-moving and highly collaborative remote environment.

Salary
4,500 to SGD 9,000 per month + Performance-based bonus
Benefits:

- Strong emphasis on company core values to guide you in your day-to-day work and life
- Dynamic and entrepreneurial environment with significant ownership opportunities
- Exposure across investing, operations, technology, and strategic initiatives
- Opportunity to work on AI and automation initiatives that directly shape the future infrastructure of the firm
- Training and mentorship to support both professional and personal growth
- Flexible and transparent work culture focused on ownership and output
Responsibilities
The role will cover responsibilities across fund operations and reporting, process improvement and automation, technology and systems, and general strategic and operational support, including:
- Support day-to-day fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions/redemptions, reconciliations, and portfolio reporting.
- Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, custodians, brokers, banking counterparties, and other external service providers.
- Assist with quarterly management reporting, annual financial statement processes, operational due diligence requests, and investor information requests.
- Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date records, documentation, workflows, and process materials across fund operations activities.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose practical, scalable solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
- Build, improve, and maintain internal operating systems, dashboards, reporting workflows, and process documentation.
- Leverage AI tools, LLMs, automation platforms, and no-code/low-code tools to improve productivity, reporting, and operational scalability.
- Participate in the development, testing, evaluation, and implementation of internal tools, reporting infrastructure, and software solutions.
- Assist with data validation, workflow integrations, process automation, and practical applications of AI across investment operations and business processes.
- Support ad hoc strategic and operational projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 0–4 years of experience in fund operations, finance, consulting, technology, audit, accounting, data analytics, or related fields (prior fund operations experience is a plus but not required)
