We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant with 35 years of experience in private market or alternative funds. This is a hands-on accounting and administration role covering fund accounting, investor reporting, and operational processes for private equity, private credit, or other alternative fund structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reports
- Process capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations accurately and on time
- Maintain fund records, supporting schedules, and documentation in accordance with fund requirements
- Support audit, tax, and regulatory reporting as required
- Assist in process improvement and system optimization within fund accounting workflows
- Utilize fund administration systems for day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks
Requirements:
- 35 years of fund accounting or administration experience in private markets or alternative investments
- Strong knowledge of fund structures, investment accounting, and investor reporting
- Proficient in fund administration platforms or accounting systems
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
