Job Summary
Join Alcea as a Junior Fund Accountant / Compliance Assistant to support the COO in fund operations, accounting, and compliance during our fund launch phase. Gain hands-on experience and work closely with senior management in building a hedge fund.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review daily NAV and P&L analysis to ensure accurate fund valuation
- Monitor trades and conduct post-trade compliance checks to maintain regulatory adherence
- Perform ongoing compliance monitoring of analysts and traders activities to mitigate risks
- Prepare compliance reports and internal control documentation to support audit readiness
- Provide ad-hoc operational and administrative support to the COO to facilitate smooth daily operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Willingness to support Japanese market trading hours and follow the Japan trading calendar
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Prior exposure to fund accounting, compliance, or hedge fund operations
