Job Overview:
The company is expanding its Functional Safety team and is looking for experienced and motivated Functional Safety Engineers as well as a Functional Safety Manager to support advanced automotive programs, especially Intelligent Cockpit (IPC) and AD/ADAS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
. Lead and execute Functional Safety activities in accordance with ISO 26262 (Parts 2, 3, 4, 5/6,7, 8 and 9)
. Support and manage the complete safety lifecycle, including:
o DIA ,Safety Plan , HARA ,Functional Safety Concept (FSC)
o Technical Safety Concept (TSC) ,Safety Requirements (TSR,HSR,SSR)
o Safety Analysis (FMEA, FTA, DFA , FMEDA)
. Work closely with system, hardware, and software teams to ensure safety compliance
. Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on safety-related topics
. Interact directly with international OEM customers and analyse customer safety requirements and evaluate technical feasibility.
Required Qualifications
. Strong experience in ISO 26262, especially Parts 2, 3, 4, 5/6, 7,8 and 9.
. Hands-on experience in safety lifecycle execution in automotive projects
. Experience in system, hardware or software safety development
. Good understanding of safety work products and documentation
. Strong communication and coordination skills
. Experience as a System Safety Engineer or Functional Safety Manager
Preferred Qualifications
. Experience in Autonomous Driving / ADAS / Intelligent Cockpit (IPC) projects is a strong advantage
. Knowledge of SOTIF (ISO 21448) and practical application for AD/ADAS Awareness of AI Safety (ISO 8800)
. Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434)
. TÜV Functional Safety certification is preferred
. Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is a plus
