Functional Business Analyst

1. Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Lead requirements elicitation workshops with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams.
• Analyse, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for Stablecoin and Digital Asset initiatives.
• Produce BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Perform gap analysis between current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes.
• Manage requirement traceability throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
• Identify and manage requirement risks, dependencies, assumptions, and scope changes.

2. Stablecoin & Digital Asset Domain Analysis

Define and document end-to-end stablecoin journeys including:

• Pay / Transfer
• Receive / Collection
• Fiat ↔ Stablecoin Conversion
• Wallet Management
• Wallet Payee Management
• Onboarding / Offboarding
• Reconciliation & Reporting
• Analyse impacts to digital channels including internet banking, APIs, Host-to-Host (H2H), and mobile platforms.
• Document business rules for wallet operations, transaction lifecycle, settlement, limits, fees, and exception handling.
• Support future digital asset initiatives including tokenised deposits, CBDC, and programmable settlement capabilities.

3. Corporate Channel & Entitlement Framework

Define and maintain corporate channel entitlement models covering:

• User Roles . RBAC Frameworks
• Maker-Checker Approvals
• Transaction Limits
• Authorization Matrix
• Wallet and Account Entitlements
• Ensure stablecoin services are integrated into existing corporate banking security and approval frameworks.
• Work closely with channel teams to define onboarding, subscription packages, and access controls.

4. Regulatory, Compliance & Risk Requirements

Collaborate with Compliance, AML, Fraud, and Risk teams to define controls for:

• KYC/CDD
• AML Monitoring
• Sanctions Screening
• Travel Rule Compliance
• Wallet Screening
• Transaction Monitoring
• Audit and Reporting Requirements
• Ensure regulatory obligations are embedded into requirements and solution design.
• Support reviews related to MAS regulations and cross-border digital asset controls.

5. Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Serve as the bridge between Business, Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, and Testing teams. . Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and solution discussions.
• Support Agile ceremonies including grooming, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT readiness.
• Drive issue resolution and requirement clarifications throughout delivery.

6. Testing & Implementation Support

• Translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
• Support SIT, UAT, and Production Validation testing.
• Review defects and determine whether issues are defects, change requests, or enhancement opportunities.
• Support implementation, rollout planning, and post-production stabilization

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of Functional Business Analysis experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• Minimum 5 years in Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management, or Corporate Banking Channels.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Stablecoin / Digital Asset Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

• Stablecoins
• Blockchain Fundamentals
• Wallet Concepts
• Digital Asset Custody
• Tokenised Money
• Tokenised Deposits
• CBDC Ecosystem
• Experience supporting Stablecoin, Blockchain, Digital Asset, or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) initiatives.
• Understanding of wallet-to-wallet transfers, digital asset settlement, and on-ramp/off-ramp models.

Corporate Banking Channels Strong knowledge of:

• Corporate Internet Banking
• Entitlements & RBAC
• Authorization Matrix
• User Administration
• Bulk Payments
• H2H Integrations
• API Banking
• Cash Management
• Payment Domain Knowledge
• Strong understanding of: Cross-border Payments, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, Reconciliation, Settlement Processes
• Knowledge of digital settlement and programmable payment concepts.

Business Analysis Skills

Expert in:

• Experience with Agile delivery using JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred / Good-To-Have Skills

• Exposure to SWIFT Digital Ledger initiatives.
• Experience with Stablecoin products such as USDC, tokenised deposits, or institutional digital asset platforms.
• Knowledge of blockchain networks such as Ripple, Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Polygon.
• Understanding of smart contracts and programmable settlement.
• Familiarity with Travel Rule, wallet address validation, and blockchain analytics solutions.
• Experience working with Compliance, Fraud, AML, and Risk teams on digital asset initiatives.
