Role Overview
The Functional Business Analyst will gather, analyse, and document requirements for payment and banking systems, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit and clarify functional requirements for banking/payment systems.
- Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and process flows.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into detailed technical solutions.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and sign-offs.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business and technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in payments, banking, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, cards, and banking operations.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and project delivery processes.
