Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists and key stakeholders to elicit, review, validate, and document business requirements.
- Analyse current and future-state business and operational processes and perform impact assessments based on agreed requirements.
- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Assess and estimate the impact of project change requests, including scope, process, and system implications.
- Monitor and manage requirements-related risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.
- Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications for System Analysts and technology teams.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and delivered solutions.
- Work closely with technology and project teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions remain aligned with business needs.
- Review test plans and functional test scope prepared by testing teams to ensure adequate coverage of business requirements.
- Support SIT and UAT activities, including defect prioritisation, tracking, investigation, and resolution.
- Provide functional clarification and support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Drive effective collaboration across business and technology stakeholders and support the resolution of complex functional issues.
Key Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with a strong track record in delivering finance-related projects.
- Strong experience working with financial systems and data management.
- Good understanding of accounting standards, financial processes, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, impact assessment, and functional specification.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle, with experience supporting change management and project delivery.
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT, including test scope review, defect prioritisation, and resolution.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business and functional requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across business and technology teams.
- Confident presenter with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive discussions, influence stakeholders, and resolve complex issues.
- Passionate, diligent, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively through ambiguity and deliver under pressure.
