As a Sales Assistant/Store Associate/Retail Assistant at Dr Marten, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting customers with enthusiasm and product knowledge.
- Driving sales by recommending products and providing personalized styling advice.
- Achieve the agreed standards on the sales floor including till and service zone at all times
- Maximize sales through effective management of departmental stock and size availability to facilitate layout planning
- General store operations - including visual merchandising, managing inventory, stocktake and general house keeping
- Operate the till (handling of cash and credit cards) with the correct procedures, achieving high level of efficiency and accuracy
- Keeping abreast of latest fashion news (or trends in fashion) in order to possess in-depth product knowledge and communicate to customers effectively
- Make use of the product knowledge to suggest products and promote product benefits to customers in order to drive sale
- Develop strong connections with customer to generate loyal customers and repeat transactions
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Passion for sneakers, fashion, and streetwear culture.
- Have basic knowledge about the brand and customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
