About the Role

We are hiring a Science Tutor with deep subject knowledge and a passion for simplifying complex concepts. If you enjoy helping students understand Science through both conceptual clarity and practice, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Teach Primary and IGCSE Science to Grade 4-10 students, including Lower Secondary Science and IGCSE Combined/Coordinated Science, in both 1-on-1 and group settings.

• Conduct structured lessons on theory, problem-solving, practical concepts, and data response.

• Break down challenging topics (e.g. mechanics, electricity, chemical reactions, cells, and human biology)

• Run mock assessments and timed practices with feedback

• Develop and maintain resource banks and lesson slides

• Participate in curriculum planning and academic workshops

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Science

• Effective communicator, especially in explaining complex scientific concepts.

• Familiar with the IGCSE Science syllabus

• Committed to helping students improve through clear instruction and feedback

• Able to create well-structured notes and exercises

• Applicants must be currently based in Singapore and legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Graduates and senior tutors are preferred. Strong undergraduates are also welcome to apply.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: $4,500 - $8,000

• Bonuses: Performance- and contribution-based incentives

Work Schedule

• 5-day week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)

• Weekdays: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

• Weekends: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (negotiable)
