About Us:
At Oat & About, we're all about creating oat milk ice cream and plant-based baked treats that make people smile. We're looking for someone who is able to produce ice cream and has a passion for desserts to join our team.
What You'll Do:
Core responsibilities:
- Produce ice cream
- Preparing and producing mise en place (prep mix-ins, nut-butters, fruits).
- Prepare and wash equipments
- Prepare oat snacks or drinks when required
- Upholding high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene at all times
- Maintaining the cleanliness and serviceability of kitchen equipment and work environment
- Able to handle stress and multitask, able to work well independently.
- (at times) Help serve customers with a friendly attitude.
Who We're Looking For
- MUST BE - SG local/PR
- REQUIRED - At least 3 months of pastry kitchen experience or have been in culinary / pastry schools.
- REQUIRED - Food safety and handling (has proof of cert for Food Safety Course Level 1 )
- No prior ice cream making experience required training will be provided.
- Shifts will be mostly weekdays, flexible.
