Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our dentists in day-to-day procedures, maintain clinic organization, and ensure our patients receive smooth, high-quality care from the moment they sit in the chair.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Chairside Assistance:
- Chairside Support: Assist the dentist during standard clinical procedures, including routine check-ups, fillings, crowns, and extractions.
- Patient Comfort: Greet, seat, and prepare patients for treatment, reviewing their medical history
- Post-Operative Care: Deliver clear post-operative instructions to patients and manage immediate post-procedure care.
Sterilization & Infection Control:
- Instrument Processing: Discard disposables, clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and handpieces according to strict OSHA and healthcare safety standards.
- Operatory Preparation: Prepare, clean, and stock treatment rooms before and after each appointment to optimize patient flow.
- Compliance: Follow all workplace protocols regarding infection control, hazardous materials, and protective equipment.
Administrative & Operations Support:
- Records Management: Help manage and update patient digital health charts and dental records
- Inventory Control: Monitor medication and dental supplies, track stock levels, and coordinate monthly ordering.
- Front Desk Collaboration: Support general front desk duties when required, such as answering phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and welcoming guests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: min qualification GCE O levels
- Experience: No experience required comprehensive on-the-job training provided for the right candidate.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, an empathetic phone/chairside manner.
