Full Stack Software Engineer (TypeScript / Python / GenAI) (4-7 Years Experience, 1 Year Contract)

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting the development of secure, enterprise-grade digital platforms within the legal and justice domain.

This role is suited for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems in structured, high-trust environments while working with modern full-stack technologies and emerging AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications

• Deliver robust, maintainable, and well-tested software features

• Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and implementation decisions

• Build and integrate AI-enabled features using LLM and RAG patterns

• Work closely with technical leads, product owners, and legal domain stakeholders

• Maintain engineering best practices across security, performance, and code quality

• Support CI/CD and deployment workflows within GitLab CI environments

• Contribute to infrastructure and cloud engineering initiatives using AWS and Terraform

• Assist with technical planning and platform improvements

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade systems

• Strong frontend development experience with JavaScript / TypeScript

• Backend development experience with Python and/or TypeScript

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI

• Hands-on experience or strong interest in Generative AI development, including:

• LLM integrations
• RAG architectures
• AI-powered application features

Good to Have

• Experience working in government, legal, or highly regulated environments

• Exposure to secure and high-availability system design

• Experience working in Agile product teams
