Job Summary

You will develop and deliver production-grade applications using Node.js and TypeScript, collaborating with clients and teams to build scalable, secure, and responsive web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production-grade applications using Node.js and TypeScript to meet client requirements
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend and backend integration
• Build responsive frontend interfaces using frameworks such as React and Next.js for optimal user experience
• Manage relational and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS EC2, Lambda, RDS) ensuring scalability and reliability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to automate deployment and improve system stability
• Integrate role-based access control (RBAC) and audit logging to ensure data security and compliance with PDPA
• Develop and integrate notification services (e.g., AWS SES, SNS, Twilio) for email and SMS communications
• Build scheduling, attendance tracking (e.g., QR code check-in/out), and reporting features with exportable formats (PDF, Excel)
• Create search, filtering, and personalization features, including recommendation engines based on user preferences and activity
• Integrate AI/ML services or APIs (e.g., OpenAI) to enhance application capabilities
• Collaborate with clients on-site and off-site to provide technical support and ensure project success
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK) and monitoring practices to maintain system health and observability

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Prior experience in mobile-responsive web development and Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
• Familiarity with citizen-facing government systems development
• Knowledge of Singpass, MyInfo, or Corppass integration
