About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build and improve digital products used by the public. You will work with government agencies and a cross-functional product team to develop reliable, user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications and digital products.
- Build clean, scalable and maintainable code.
- Work with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, Quality Engineers and other developers.
- Develop and improve product features based on user and business requirements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and share technical knowledge with the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Continuously improve development practices, product quality and user experience.
Requirements
Must have:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript, React and AWS.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong programming fundamentals.
- Experience with React/ReactJS, TypeScript and NodeJS.
- Experience with AWS or cloud-based application development.
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in using technology to improve public services.
Good to Have
- Experience with amCharts.
- Experience with SHIP-HATS, APEX or Cloud File Transfer (CFT).
- Experience working on government or large-scale digital products.
