We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in SharePoint, .NET development, and cloud migration projects to support the transformation of enterprise applications and collaboration platforms from on-premises environments to modern cloud infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across application development, platform administration, cloud transformation, and stakeholder engagement while contributing to large-scale digital modernisation initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, configure, and support SharePoint-based solutions and enterprise applications.
- Lead and support SharePoint migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud platforms, including Government Cloud environments where applicable.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ASP.NET /.NET applications, integrations, and backend services.
- Support cloud transformation and application modernisation initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Configure and administer SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Edition environments.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and Microsoft technologies.
- Support application deployment activities, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and system enhancements.
- Implement workflow automation and business process improvements using Microsoft technologies.
- Perform root cause analysis, issue investigation, and problem resolution for production systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational, security, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to solution design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Edition (On-Premises).
- Experience delivering SharePoint migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint administration, configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing applications using ASP.NET and the .NET framework.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database queries and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SQL Server administration activities such as backup, restoration, performance monitoring, and support.
- Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and identity and access management concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies and services.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives within Government Cloud environments.
- Exposure to government security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Knowledge of certificate management, secret management, and secure credential handling practices.
- Experience with workflow automation and business process optimisation.
- Familiarity with SFTP integrations and file transfer processes.
- Exposure to Python scripting, automation, or development.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale or government environments.
- Exposure to cloud modernisation and digital transformation programmes.
