Position Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be a core contributor to building and scaling the data platforms and internal tools that power the company's research and insights products. The role is backend-heavy, with Go at the center of service development, complemented by React-based frontend work to deliver end-to-end product features. You will work closely with product, data, and research teams to translate complex data workflows into reliable, performant systems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Go, handling high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines
• Develop and maintain responsive, component-driven frontend interfaces using React JS
• Collaborate with product and data teams to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable system designs
• Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and maintainability at scale
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system stability
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices
• Debug and resolve production issues across the full stack, from database queries to UI rendering

Must Have Criteria

• 5–7 years of full stack engineering experience with a backend-heavy focus
• Hands-on production experience building backend services in Go
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React JS for building production-grade frontend interfaces
• Demonstrated TypeScript experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining scalable, distributed backend systems
• Demonstrated Experience working with NoSQL databases.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with large-scale data pipelines or analytics platforms
• Familiarity with the market research, consumer insights, or adtech domain
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience at a data-driven product company or SaaS environment
• Proficiency in Japanese (business level) given the Tokyo-based, Japan-market context
