Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and implementation of the overall technical solution for the project, and ensuring the quality of the system architecture and technical selection
- Participate in the design and coding of core modules, solve system-level and complex technical problems, and ensure system performance, stability, and security
- Lead API design, database structure design, and key technical decision-making.
- Cover backend (Java / Python), frontend (React / Vue), and basic deployment tasks, and provide technical support at critical junctures
- Responsible for or guiding the deployment, release, and operation and maintenance of the system in cloud environments (primarily Microsoft Cloud, also considering AWS/GCP)
- Promote DevOps practices such as containerization and CI/CD to improve delivery efficiency and system maintainability.
- Project Delivery and Agile Management: Host or be deeply involved in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Review, Retro) to ensure the achievement of iteration goals
- Directly engage with clients (including IT teams from government or public sectors) for technical communication, solution explanation, deployment support, and issue troubleshooting
- Assist the team in enhancing technical capabilities and delivery awareness, fostering a practical and efficient engineering culture those proficient in using AI to solve problems are preferred
Qualifications:
- 5 years or more of experience in Java full stack development, with solid engineering capabilities and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or a related field, with a background from a well-known institution preferred
- Preference will be given to those with experience in implementing projects for the Singapore government or public sectors
- Familiar with the deployment processes of Microsoft Cloud (Azure/ AWS / GCP), with practical application or App deployment experience proficient in DevOps, familiar with application deployment and operation and maintenance processes in cloud environments candidates with experience in containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices are preferred.
- Proficient in Java / Spring Boot (or Python ecosystem), with experience in developing production-level systems
- Proficient in using MySQL and Redis, with an understanding of database design, performance tuning, and high-concurrency scenarios
- Possesses good API design capabilities and system tuning experience. Those who can troubleshoot, modify common front-end issues, and provide emergency support are preferred.
