Full Stack Engineer (Open to any tools, Government project experience needed)
Responsibilities
Support the development and delivery of IT projects and digital products related to the agency's Digital Services, including Whole-of-Government (WOG) and national-level initiatives.
Participate in the design, development, enhancement, testing, and deployment of full stack applications and digital solutions.
Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes to support business and technical requirements.
Review, optimise, and fine-tune code generated by AI tools and external software vendors to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
Support automated testing activities, including test preparation, execution, and defect resolution.
Streamline and improve processes related to software development, code review, deployment, and testing.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Support application operations, troubleshooting, incident management, and system enhancements when required.
Adhere to Government security standards, governance, and compliance requirements, including GCC practices where applicable.
Perform any other duties or tasks assigned during the contract period based on project needs.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of relevant full stack development experience, preferably within the Singapore Government tech ecosystem.
Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, tools, and delivery practices.
Experience in cloud technologies, implementation, and deployment environments.
Prior experience supporting Government projects/products is a MUST.
Familiarity with application operations support, incident/problem management, and audit activities is advantageous.
Knowledge of Government security policies, standards, and compliance requirements will be an added advantage.
Exposure to AI tools, automation, and modern software engineering practices is preferred.
