Role Overview
Responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing applications that support business operations. This role focuses on building reliable, scalable solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy applications aligned with business needs
- Translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions
- Build workflows, forms, and integrations to improve business processes
- Develop and integrate backend services and APIs
- Perform testing, debugging, and provide ongoing application support
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Support enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects
- Maintain clear documentation and follow development best practices
- Take ownership of assigned modules and contribute to end to-end delivery
- Design and execute data migration, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness
- Analyze legacy data structures and map them to target data models
- Develop and optimize data migration pipelines and scripts
- Validate migrated data through reconciliation, testing, and quality checks
- Support cutover planning and execution for migration activities
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with Java-based development environments and frameworks
- Familiarity with SQL and Sybase database
- Exposure to API development and system integrations
- Experience with data migration-related activities and tools
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exposure to system migration or modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications or public sector projects
- Experience working in Agile or collaborative delivery environments
