Job Description

We're looking for a Full-Stack DevSecOps Engineer to help build secure, scalable, and automated software delivery pipelines. You'll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, strengthen cloud environments, and streamline deployment processes using modern DevSecOps practices.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure and efficient software delivery.
  • Integrate security controls and automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Automate security monitoring, vulnerability detection, and remediation using scripting and security tools.
  • Review cloud environments and implement security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams to embed DevSecOps practices into development workflows.
  • Manage identity and access controls while ensuring compliance with organisational security standards.
  • Perform security assessments and recommend improvements to strengthen existing DevSecOps processes.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, automation, and security issues while continuously improving platform reliability and efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging DevSecOps tools, cloud security technologies, and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management (IAM), and security compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with AWS security services including AWS Security Hub, Amazon Inspector, GuardDuty, and automated security scanning tools.
  • Good understanding of secure software development practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional technical teams.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with security testing tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, Trivy, Checkov, or similar.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Relevant cloud or security certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, or cybersecurity certifications).
