Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer

We are a licensed security agency in Singapore seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer to oversee and manage our IT operations. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying with Singapore's regulatory standards applicable to the security industry. This role requires both technical expertise and industry exposure to support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Engineering / Full Stack Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and internal IT systems using modern frameworks.

  • Tech stack includes: JavaScript (React, Node.js), Python, PHP, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

  • Build APIs and integrations to support operational workflows.

  • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with PDPA requirements.

• Odoo Development

  • Customize, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP modules to support HR, payroll, and operations.

  • Develop new Odoo modules tailored to the security industry's needs.

  • Integrate Odoo with existing systems and third-party applications.

  • Provide user support and training for Odoo functionalities.

• IoT Engineering / Security Systems Integration

  • Oversee deployment and integration of IoT devices (e.g., access control, surveillance, biometric systems).

  • Develop and maintain IoT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security monitoring.

  • Ensure IoT systems comply with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards.

  • Collaborate with vendors and regulatory bodies on IoT and security compliance matters.

• General IT Oversight

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.

• Provide IT support and training to staff.

• Liaise with vendors and regulatory bodies on IT and security compliance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT development and infrastructure management.

• Proven track record as a Full Stack Developer (front-end and back-end).

• Strong knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar).

• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP development and customization.

• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with IoT systems, device integration, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Exposure to the security industry (e.g., working with licensed agencies, security systems, or related IT solutions).

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
