Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team developing advanced visualization tools for high-throughput, high-dimensional data. This is a full-stack role with a stronger focus on front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance visualization applications for large and complex datasets.

• Lead front-end development of new visualization features and workflows using modern web technologies.

• Develop and maintain back-end microservices supporting visualization applications.

• Enhance existing applications for performance, reliability, usability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements and data into intuitive visual experiences.

• Develop automated integration tests, test frameworks, and unit tests.

• Diagnose and resolve production, performance, and scalability issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong experience developing front-end applications using Angular/React, TypeScript, WebGL, WebAssembly, and CSS.

• Experience developing back-end microservices using technologies such as Python or C#.

• Experience with web and desktop application development, such as Electron.

• Experience working with large datasets and performance-sensitive applications.

• Experience with data visualization, interactive data exploration, or UI/UX for technical users.

• Experience building AI-driven interfaces that translate complex model outputs into intuitive UI components and data visualizations.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

• Proficiency with source control systems such as Git or SVN.

• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and ownership skills.

Desired Experience

• Python and Python visualization libraries.

• Optimizing visualization pipelines for large or streaming datasets.

• Maintaining and evolving legacy or widely deployed software.

• Working directly with users across development and field environments.
