The Role
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to build scalable, high-performing digital products that power one of Singapore's leading news and lifestyle platforms. In this role, you will work across the full development lifecycle-designing architecture, building intuitive user interfaces, implementing secure backend logic, and ensuring seamless end-to-end performance.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable front-end and back-end software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code across the full stack
- Build responsive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Design database schemas, APIs, and server-side logic
- Integrate front-end and back-end components for seamless functionality
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise applications for performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Implement security, data protection, and modern development best practices
What You Bring
Core Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
- Familiarity with Redux/MobX, modern UI/UX principles, npm, webpack
- Backend experience in Node.js and/or PHP
- Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of server architecture and web servers (Apache, Nginx)
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Drupal CMS
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
- Ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
Pre-requisite
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of full stack development experience
- Portfolio of relevant projects or deployed applications
