Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Full Stack Developer for a 3-month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities:
- Build and launch the new mobile app (iOS + Android) using React Native (Expo), owning the end-to-end development process
- Implement core features such as daily health goals, meal logging, AI-powered photo analysis, diagnostics integration, and personalized recommendations
- Design and optimize a seamless, habit-forming user experience that makes healthy eating effortless and supports long-term longevity goals
- Develop and manage the backend with Supabase and Node.js, including user data models, authentication, and API integrations
- Ship quickly and iterate continuously by releasing frequent updates based on real user feedback and data insights
- Establish the technical foundation by setting up CI/CD pipelines, analytics, secure data handling, and preparing the app for deployment on the App Store and Play Store
Requirements:
- Over 2 years of relevant experience with strong expertise in React Native (Expo) and full-stack development (Node.js, Supabase, TypeScript)
- Proven experience integrating APIs, authentication flows, notifications, and mobile UI components, with a focus on rapid prototyping and building from 0 to 1
- Driven, entrepreneurial, and user-centric mindset, with a passion for creating meaningful solutions and attention to every detail
- Demonstrates strong ownership, self-direction, and the ability to work independently as a first engineer
- Experience with AI/ML model integration to enhance product capabilities
