The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS), at NTU invites applications from outstanding candidates for a Full Professor in Plant Science.

We are seeking a visionary and internationally recognized scholar to lead cutting-edge research and education in one or more of the following areas:

• Plant Cell Biology

• Plant Development and Signaling

• Plant Synthetic Biology

• Plant Biotechnology

Position Overview

Qualifications

• A PhD in Biology, Synthetic Biology, Biotechnology or a closely related plant research field.

• A distinguished record of scholarly achievement, including: High-impact publications in top-tier journals.

• International recognition and awards.

• Strong record of research funding.

• Proven excellence in teaching and mentorship at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

• Demonstrated leadership in academic and/or research institutions.

• A collaborative spirit with a vision for advancing innovation and interdisciplinary research.
