Our client is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer (Efficiency Engineering) in Singapore to support the development and optimization of internal enterprise systems and engineering efficiency platforms.
This role focuses on frontend development, low-code platform applications, workflow optimization, and enhancing user experience and engineering productivity across internal business systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize frontend interfaces for internal enterprise systems
- Build, customize, and optimize applications on internal low-code platforms
- Participate in the development of engineering efficiency platforms to improve workflow quality and operational efficiency through tools and process enhancements
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality and delivery timelines
- Continuously improve frontend architecture, scalability, maintainability, system stability, and user experience of internal platforms
- Participate in frontend performance optimization, debugging, and technical improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience, or outstanding fresh graduates with strong technical foundations are welcome to apply
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development concepts
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript development
- Familiar with frontend debugging tools and capable of translating UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive frontend interfaces
- Good understanding of frontend architecture, API integration, code structure, browser compatibility handling, and frontend performance optimization
- Proficient in React and familiar with its core concepts and runtime mechanisms
- Familiar with Git, Node.js, Webpack, frontend modularization, and frontend engineering practices
- Exposure to backend development concepts or prior full-stack project experience is an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:
- Interest in engineering productivity, developer tools, user experience, application performance, or information security
- Cross-language development capabilities
- Experience developing internal enterprise systems, including approval workflows, HR systems, payroll systems, finance systems, or data analytics platforms
- Experience using or developing low-code platforms
- Strong interest in B2B or enterprise software products
