Job Description

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and scale Ropedia's user-facing products, including our data platform web application, company website, and mobile app experiences. You will work closely with product, design, and backend/ML teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and reliable interfaces, turning complex workflows into intuitive interactions for customers and internal operators.

In this role, you will own key frontend architecture and implementation, drive UI engineering best practices, and help shape the overall product experience across web and mobile.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement frontend experiences for Ropedia's data platform, including core workflows, dashboards, and interactive tools.

2. Build and maintain Ropedia's marketing website and product pages with strong attention to visual quality, responsiveness, and performance.

3. Develop and iterate on mobile app user experiences (e.g., capture/operations tooling, user-facing product flows), ensuring consistency across platforms.

4. Collaborate closely with design and product to translate Figma specs into production-quality UI, and continuously improve interaction quality.

5. Work with backend/infra teams to define and implement API contracts, data fetching patterns, caching, and error handling.

6. Establish and maintain frontend engineering standards: component libraries/design systems, testing, CI/CD, accessibility, and monitoring.

7. Optimize for performance, reliability, and maintainability, including bundling, rendering performance, and cross-browser/device compatibility.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

. Strong proficiency in modern frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript and React (or equivalent frameworks).

. Experience building production web apps with state management, routing, authentication/authorization, and API integration.

. Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals: HTML/CSS, responsive design, browser rendering/performance, and debugging.

. Familiarity with modern tooling and best practices: bundlers (Vite/Webpack), linting/formatting, testing (unit/e2e), and CI/CD.

. Strong product sense and collaboration skills-able to work effectively with designers and cross-functional stakeholders.

. Ownership mindset, high execution bar, and attention to detail in UI quality.

Nice to Have (Optional)

. Experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG), SEO, and performance optimization for marketing sites.

. Mobile experience with React Native / Flutter (or native iOS/Android exposure).

. Familiarity with UI component systems (e.g., Tailwind, MUI, Ant Design) and building/designing design systems.

. Experience with data-heavy UIs (tables, filtering, search, visualization) and workflow tools (admin panels, ops dashboards).

. Exposure to observability and product analytics (e.g., Sentry, OpenTelemetry, GA/Mixpanel).
