Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable front-end applications
Develop and maintain reusable, accessible, and responsive UI components using modern web technologies
Drive design system development and maintenance to ensure consistency across products
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences
Ensure applications meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA or higher)
Conduct accessibility audits and implement improvements using tools such as axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, and JAWS
Implement and maintain end-to-end testing frameworks with accessibility integration (e.g., Playwright, Cypress with axe-core)
Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices in front-end development

Key Requirements

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
Extensive experience with Web Component APIs and custom element development
Proven track record in design system development and maintenance
Expert knowledge of accessibility standards
Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS)
Proficiency in end-to-end testing frameworks with accessibility integration (Playwright, Cypress with axe-core)
