Frontend Developer

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Frontend Developer to join our engineering team for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in building, optimising, and maintaining responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.

If you have 2-3 years of hands-on experience building clean, performant interfaces with React and love turning complex UI designs into seamless user experiences, we'd love to talk to you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate design wireframes and API specifications into production-ready code.

• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following industry best practices and component-driven architecture.

• Optimise applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high software quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-3 years of professional frontend development experience.

• React Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management, modern patterns).

• Core Web Tech: Strong mastery of HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript (preferred).

• Version Control: Proficient with Git and common workflow practices (branching, PR reviews).

• Problem Solving: Good debugging skills and attention to UI/UX details.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)

• Familiarity with React Flow (or similar node/graph visual routing libraries).

• Experience with CSS frameworks or UI component libraries (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Shadcn/ui).

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
