Angular AMS Support Lead / Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Angular AMS Support Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance the front-end applications for a large pharmaceutical distribution enterprise. The main focus of this role is to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and continuous improvement of Angular-based applications that support essential business processes such as order management, inventory tracking, compliance, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Maintenance
- Provide L2/L3 support for Angular-based enterprise applications.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform bug fixes, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve incidents.
- Handle production support tickets using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
Enhancements & Development
- Develop and implement minor enhancements and change requests (CRs).
- Optimise UI/UX for business-critical workflows, including order-to-cash and supply chain processes.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for all applications.
Integration & Collaboration
- Work closely with backend teams, including SAP, APIs, and middleware.
- Integrate Angular applications with RESTful APIs and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand pharma distribution workflows.
Performance & Quality
- Improve application performance and loading times.
- Ensure code quality through regular reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain documentation for bug fixes, enhancements, and the knowledge base.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, including audit trails and validation support.
- Follow secure coding practices and enterprise security policies.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Angular (version 10 and above), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with RxJS and NgRx (optional, but preferred).
- Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and using browser developer tools.
Support Experience
- Hands-on experience in AMS or production support environments.
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Exposure to ITIL practices is preferred.
Domain Experience (Preferred)
- Experience in pharma distribution, healthcare, or supply chain systems.
- Understanding of processes such as:
- Order Management (OTC)
- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Batch tracking and compliance
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support model or shifts, if required.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP integrations (SAP ECC, S4HANA, APIs).
- Exposure to pharma compliance systems, including serialization and track & trace.
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture.
