About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Front-Office Technology Business Analyst to join our team. You will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that front-office investment workflows are efficiently designed, implemented, and continuously improved. This is a high-impact role operating at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with portfolio managers to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into technical specifications, and communicate technical constraints back to business stakeholders
- Design, test, and implement processes, tools, and systems in collaboration with in-house IT, risk, and finance teams, as well as external software vendors and service providers, to support front-office investment workflows
- Develop and execute test plans for system, process, and product upgrades actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Create and maintain comprehensive user guides and documentation for processes, tools, and systems supporting front-office investment operations
- Collaborate across multiple departments to plan and implement roadmaps for front-office workflow enhancements, including feature development and system upgrades
- Ensure all front-office processes and procedures comply with internal standards for data integrity, security, and auditability
- Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot front-office processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations liaise with internal IT teams and external service providers to resolve production issues
- Manage end-to-end project implementations with vendors and service providers, including procurement and related administrative matters
- Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new products and systems, including process re-engineering where necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technology Operations role within financial services or asset management
- Strong understanding of front-office investment workflows, including portfolio management, order management, or trading systems
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, risk, finance, and external vendors
- Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing, and documentation
- Familiarity with data integrity, security standards, and auditability requirements in a regulated environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to translate between business and technical domains effectively
- Experience managing vendor relationships and procurement processes is an advantage
- Knowledge of MAS regulations and the Singapore financial services landscape is highly preferred
