A Front Counter Crew focuses on customer service and operations, including greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities involve efficient and accurate order handling, maintaining a positive attitude, following health and safety standards, and contributing to a smooth front-of-house operation.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, and ensure accuracy in payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, serving areas, and the front counter itself.
- Communicate effectively with back-of-house (BOH) and other front-of-house (FOH) team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling.
- Monitor and restock supplies, ensure an adequate supply of items, and rotate stock using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
Any other jobs or duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Basic IT knowledge, ability to handle the POS system.
- Money sensitive.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash handling experience.
